Combining witty sass with songwriting brilliance, Aubrie Mitchell releases 'Just So Lame'! 🤩

Aubrie first recorded 'Just So Lame' on herbed, then finished it up in her home studio and later on at BIG FAN, in Auckland.

“This was the first song I recorded when I got my SM7b mic and I remember being so excited that I just plugged it in and hit record. The song came to me very quickly and I had the whole demo down in half an hour.”

You could call her a triple threat, but even that doesn't cut it.

You'll be hard pressed to find something that Aubrie isn't extremely talented at. With only 22 years of life under her belt she working as a producer, songwriter and engineer at BIG FAN for the past 18 months. Prior to BIG FAN, Aubrie completed a music degree, majoring in classical theory and music production at Auckland University.

Although Aubrie Mitchell may be a fresh artist name to your playlists, she has a huge portfolio of music collaborations through songwriting and producing for the likes of alayna, Troy Kingi, TEEKS, Chaii and Louis Baker.

“The vibe of the track is geared towards empowering those who might feel hard done by in their relationships and need a little pick me up when they’re down in the dumps about their love life,” explains Aubrie.
