'Runaway' was written in collaboration with Josh Naley (Wells*) and Phoebe Jasper (Navvy), and is an up-tempo pop tune about escaping, finding some freedom from daily life and making it up as you go along.

It was released as part of Ruby Coley's debut mini-EP 'EDDIE'. Hot on the heels of Ruby's first two singles 'Devil on My Shoulder', and follow-up single 'Take Me Back', released earlier this year. 

Ruby came in for an intimate performance of 'Take Me Back' in ZM's Acoustic Corner!

EDDIE showcases a beginning of discovery in songwriting and Bedroom Pop storytelling.

Themes from experiences growing up, a young adult moving away from home for the first time. Discovering life in new cities with your mates, first relationships, self-doubts, and growing pains.
