Just a day after being announced to play at Coachella, Lorde has just announced a second major music festival performance this year, adding fuel to rumours that her new album is imminent.
Lorde will now play the Governors Ball in New York this June, following two appearances over two weekends at Coachella in April.Â
It's been three years since Lorde gave a full performance, and even longer since she released her album Pure Heroine.
Since then, she has only released a few songs for the Hunger Games soundtrack and in collaboration with the likes of Disclosure, so with two major festival appearances on the cards it seems even more likely new material will be hitting the airwaves within the next few months.Â
The Kiwi songstress will play the Governors Ball alongside the likes of Chance the Rapper - who just headlined our own Rhythm and Vines festival - Tool, Flume, and Wiz Khalifa.
