Photographer Irina Werning's Chini Project playfully introduces us all to her four-legged muse named Chini, a Chinese crested dog. The whimsical photo series re-imagines the hairless pooch as a jack of all trades—from a surgeon and pilot to a cleaner and construction worker.

Werning first embarked on the project while dog-and-housesitting for friends. After taking a few pictures of Chini, she knew she had to devote a whole series to the photogenic pup. For a whole year, she built tiny sets for Chini to act out her little human scenes in. These are the adorable results.
