Make-up artist Melissa Murphy in Los Angeles has long been posting before and after shots of adult actresses on her Instagram and Twitter accounts, which show how she transforms them for their appearance on camera.
The photos have become a viral sensation and Melissa says she made the decision to post the images, not only to show how much hair and make-up work goes into making the actresses look beautiful for their scenes, but also in a bid to make fans less intimidated by them in real-life.
Speaking to the Huffington Post, she said:
"When you strip down all the make up, we’re just real people."
Apparently, Murphy has even mastered the art of “sex proof” make-up which doesn’t get run or smudge while the women go about their work. There’s a real science to porn which we never knew about!
