Prime Minister Bill English reveals why he never goes by his birth name

Who knew Bill English actually isn't called Bill English?

Well, he kinda is, but Bill revealed on air this morning that his real name is Simon William English and why he never gets called it.

Basically, his parents disagreed on what to call him (p.s. he's one of twelve kids?!), so his Mum 'won' with the name Simon, and his Dad got the shorter end of the stick, getting his preferred moniker 'William' as the middle one. 

Buuuut, his Dad still called him Bill from day one, and it seems it's stuck!
