A Gossip Girl reboot is officially happening!

You know you love me... XO XO... Gossip Girl...

The late-2000s series starring Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, and Ed Westwick—is officially coming back to our screens!

The show will be a reimagined take on the series, which was originally a book by Cecily von Ziegesar, and will be made up of 10 hour-long episodes.

The reboot is said to be hitting HBO Max, a streaming platform which launches in 202- but no word yet if it will be made available in NZ. 

“The prestige series will address just how much social media—and the landscape of New York itself—has changed in the intervening years,” a release teased.

Producers are yet to release more about the plot, or even when the show will be released, but we can be sure to binge the original 6 seasons immediately!

We predict that the show will be full of iconic fashion, just maybe not that 2007 style we see in the original...

Let's hope we hear those three words, eight letters, all over again!
