Anne Hathaway set to star in movie adaptation of Colleen Hoover's Verity

Booktok rejoice, the Princess of Genovia is coming back to our screens. 

 Anne Hathaway will play the character of Verity Crawford from Verity, Colleen Hoover's 2018 thriller romance. 

The novel follows a Verity, a famous author who is injured in a horiffic car accident and can no longer finish her latest novel. Verity's husband Jeremy hires an up and coming writer Lowen for a huuuge amount of dosh to finish the book, literally the job of a lifetime for Lowen. 

Lowen uncovers an unfinished autobiography Verity never intended for anyone to read, that has secrets and bone chilling admissions about the day Verity's daughter died.

Secrets that would make it "impossible for Jeremy to love his injured wife."
