Poutine lovers - it's your lucky day!!
Canada’s famous La Poutine Week is heading to Auckland this Feb.
If you're not sure what poutine is, it's a dish of fries, cheese curd and gravy and you know you'll love it.
La Poutine Week is a festival and contest that celebrates Quebec’s love for poutine by inviting restaurants from around the world to develop an exclusive poutine dish for the public to eat.
The best thing is, you get to pick the winner of the best poutine!Â
It takes place simultaneously in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, France, the UK, the US, Canada and, of course, Auckland.
Between 1st-7th February, make your way to Al’s Deli to try their Confit duck poutine or to Coreano for their Kimchi fries with pork carnitas and melted cheese topped with K-salsa roja, Mexican crema, red onion and cilantro.
