Biggest Wins and Mishaps at The Grammys

The Grammys are notorious for shaking up the world of music and the 66th annual edition did not fall short.
During the night there were surprise appearances (Celine Dion!) show-stopping performances (Dua Lipa) and comebacks (Tracy Chapman and Kylie Minogue).
So what are the highlights, lowlights and takeaways from "music's biggest night".
The Biggest Wins 🏆
As the 2024 Grammys wrapped, Phoebe Bridgers had the most wins, with four trophies (three with her band, boygenius).
SZA, boygenius, Killer Mike, Victoria Monét and songs from the “Barbie” soundtrack followed, with three wins each.
Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift won two, and Taylor also broke a record, becoming the first artist to earn four Album of the Year prizes.

😱 TAYLOR SWIFT TOOK THE SPOTLIGHT AT THE GRAMMYS AND BLEW UP THE INTERNET!
As Taylor won her 13th Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album she shook fans all over the world by announcing her new album. 'The Tortured Poets Department' is to be released on April 19th.
She also won two Grammys out of six nominations. ALBUM OF THE YEAR ('MIDNIGHTS'), BEST POP VOCAL ALBUM ('MIDNIGHTS').

Wrongful Announcement 😳
When the Academy presented Best Rap Song, the wrong name was posted to X.
Those watching the premiere ceremony, which streamed live on the Academy’s YouTube channel, saw that “Scientists & Engineers” by Killer Mike actually won.
But the Recording Academy mistakenly posted to X that Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice‘s “Barbie World” from the Barbie soundtrack was the winner before quickly deleting the post.
Jay Z calling out the Grammys 🧐
During his speech on the night, Jay-Z took a stab at the Grammys, saying, "Some of you are going to go home tonight and feel like you've been robbed."
"Some of you may get robbed," he said. "Some of you don't belong in the category."
As the audience shook their head at that shade, Jay-Z said, "When I get nervous, I tell the truth."
