Exactly one week out from Britney's next conservatorship hearing, Netflix has released the trailer for the new doco Britney vs Spears, which will land on the streaming site on 28th September.
In the trailer, the pop star’s voice is heard from an audio clip during her first testimony back in June.
This was when Britney addressed the court for the first time publicly, telling the judge that she is traumatized and pleading, “I just want my life back.”
“I’ve worked my whole life,” Spears’ voiceover is heard saying in the trailer. “I don’t owe these people anything.”
Variety reported that the documentary has been in the works for over a year, and "... will centre around Spears’ conservatorship, posing questions about the necessity of the highly unusual legal arrangement and the alleged corruption of her father’s involvement, plus, the larger issues with conservatorship laws and the overall justice system."
Just last week Britney got engaged to her long time boyfriend Sam Asghari, and flashed her 4-carat diamond on Instagram.
Check out the trailer above, and keep a few hours free for the release next Tuesday!
