David Schwimmer responds to his viral criminal doppleganger

David Schwimmer has responded to recent Photograph posted by the Blackpool Police which has gone viral on Facebook. 

Those who saw the post were quick to point out that the alleged thief bared a stunning resemblance to our favourite palaeontologist Ross Geller from Friends.

David Schwimmer also found the funny side and swears he's innocent.

He captioned the video "Officers, I swear it wasn't me. As you can see, I was in New York. To the hardworking Blackpool Police, good luck with the investigation."
