Diet Coke Cans Are Getting A Big Makeover

Diet Coke fans, don't freak out but change is a-headin' your way.

Coca-Cola plans to entirely redesign the designs of its cans, putting every type of Coke – including Life, Light, Zero Sugar, and Diet – in the same red can.

No more silver Diet Coke! No more green Coca-Cola Life. Just RED RED RED.

You will be able to tell each Coke type by the colourful border around the top of the can (those colours are still the same so they haven't gone too wild)...

Coca-Cola explained that they hope to implement ‘one visual identity system featuring Coca-Cola Red as a unifying colour across the trademark.’

Buzzfeed reports that the new can designs will roll out in Mexico in May, with plans to launch them around the world throughout 2016 and 2017.
