Ed Sheeran has revealed the name of his second daughter and it's truly out of this world! (Sorry, we had to)

Ed and his wife Cherry Seaborn welcomed their second daughter in May, who's name has now been revealed as Jupiter Seaborn Sheeran, thanks to a report from The Sun.

A source told The Sun the name is thought to have special meaning, saying, "Ed and Cherry loved the name both in terms of what it stands for and its uniqueness."

"Behind closed doors, Cherry has been gushing over becoming a mum again. She and Ed really are a match made in heaven. Their family is beautiful."

Jupiter joins the couple's almost 2-year-old daughter, Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran who they welcomed back in September 2020, sharing a photograph of two little socks (there's a theme here!)

Fans were shook at the announcement, as the couple had not publicly revealed that they were expecting baby number two. This news comes after it was announced that Ed has added two new 2023 tour dates for his Kiwi fans.

He spoke to Fletch, Vaughan and Hayley about how excited he is to return to Aotearoa and how he'll be celebrating his 32nd birthday here.
