An escaped prisoner is back in custody after pulling a fire alarm at a Harris County Residential Treatment Facility.

Lt. Larry Crowson from the Houston Police Department said"It's my understanding he was originally on probation for aggravated assault and violated the terms of his probation, the judge ordered him into this treatment facility."

The prisoner was out on the streets for about 30 minutes. Officers tell KHOU they got several tip calls and caught him nearby walking on Travis Street.

His name has not been released. Investigators say he could face additional charges.
