Here's your first look at Chris Evans as Buzz Lightyear in the new Disney Pixar movie!

To infinity, and beyond!

The nostalgia is seriously real here, as Pixar and Disney released the first trailer for their new film 'Lightyear' starring (the voice of) Chris Evans. 

The family-friendly sci-fi flick is said to explore the origin of the legendary Toy Story character and given the trailer, much like Toy Story, it'll be far from an easy flight for our man Buzz.

It seems Evans is really proud of the film too, sharing the trailer to his socials with a sweet (and classic Chris Evans) message. 

"I’m covered in goosebumps. And will be every time I watch this trailer. Or hear a Bowie song. Or have any thought whatsoever between now and July cause nothing has ever made me feel more joy and gratitude than knowing I’m a part of this and it’s basically always on my mind". 

The film was announced in December last year and put fans into somewhat of a frenzy given that Evans was chosen for the role ahead of Tim Allen, who famously voiced Lightyear since the original Toy Story in 1995. 

Lightyear will be released around the globe on 17 June 2022. In the meantime, check out the trailer above.
