'House of The Dragon' finally has a release date and it's not that far off!

Game of Thrones fans, we don't have long to wait!

House of The Dragon will be hitting screens across the world on August 21st HBO has confirmed in a series of tweets with first look photos. 

The spinoff series is set 200 years prior to Game of Thrones, and tells the story of House Targaryen and the Targaryen civil war that became known as the 'Dance of the Dragons.'

The show is based on the 2018 novel Fire and Blood written by George R. R. Martin.

Talking about the prequel, Martin says "So far, I am very excited. House Of The Dragon has wrapped in London and is now in post-production.
So if it's got the green light from him, it's certainly good enough for us! So mark down the date team and make sure you (or your ex) have paid the Neon bill!
