🤘🎸School of Rock Part 2: YES PLEASE!🤘🎸

Jack Black played rocker-turned-music teacher Dewey Finn in the 2003 comedy hit 'School of Rock'. Now, he's declared his keenness to reprise the role for a follow-up with a potential title inspired by 1984 musical sequel 'Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo'.

"I wish there’d be a 'School of Rock 2 Electric Boogaloo'. I’m ready." Same Jack, SAME! 🥳

Jack admitted he would only consider returning for a second film if original writer Mike White would return to pen the script... he may be waiting some time because White is busy working on his 'White Lotus' TV series which he created, writes and directs.

Black added: "You know Mike White wrote the first one and he’s a genius. And we’d have to have Mike White back in the saddle.

Jack Black has been in Aotearoa for months following his opening for the Foo Fighters in Auckland, filming for the Minecraft Movie and now he's hit up the Auckland premiere for the reprised fourth 'Kung Fu Panda' franchise for a fourth film. 🥋

Jack said he thinks "it's the funniest of the four, and it's action-packed. "Our new cast members are insanely talented! Everyone just kills it and it's so fun to be back, because the last 'Kung Fu Panda' was 2016."🍜
