Jamie Spears has been suspended as the head of Britney's conservatorship

She's finally free! 

Britney Spears' father Jamie Spears is no longer in control of her financial decisions and personal life.

Judge Brenda Penny has suspended her father Jamie as her conservator. The ruling ends a 13 year long battle for Britney's freedom, and the control of her $60 million dollar estate. 

Britney's fight against her father has been well documented with countless documentaries on the saga, with one being released by Netflix earlier this week. 

It is worth noting that for now the suspension is only "temporary", however Britney's legal team has requested that a new hearing be held in the next 30 to 45 days to decide whether to end Spears' conservatorship altogether.

But this is a huge step in the right direction for Britney! Wooo!
