Jennifer Aniston just confirmed the FRIENDS reunion is happening!

This is the news we've all been waiting for!

Posting to Instagram at 11am this morning, Friends star Jennifer Aniston, who plays Rachel Green in the show, confirmed the rumoured Friends reunion would be happening!

Captioning the post "It’s happening..." as well as tagging her fellow Friends co-stars and HBO Max, where the show is set to air.

All six stars – Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry will return for the exclusive one-off script by HBO Max.

All five stars posted the same picture on their Instagram.

In typical Matt LeBlanc style, he also posted the announcement to Instagram, but with a different photo:

The photo is from an old photoshoot of the gang, it's got fans freaking out online.

One fan replying; "😱😱😱😱what’s going on? can’t wait!!"

and another commenting "excited would be an understatement 🙈😍🙈😍".

While this may be the only info we have on the reunion so far, we're pretty excited either way!

Time to binge all 10 seasons in preparation...
