Pucker up! Lil Nas X delivered an historic performance at the BET Awards last night, and we are obsessed.

The world is in full support of the singer/dancer/beacon-for-the-gay-community after his 'steamy' performance, which involved an on-stage pash with a dancer.

If you've followed Lil Nas X for a while, you'd know he's no stranger to being the centre of attention and last night was no different.

Plenty of celebs (and the world) are supporting the singer, including P-Diddy who encouraged Lil Nas X to "be fearless".

In 2019, Lil Nas X announced he is part of the gay community with a powerful post to Twitter, and since then has been very vocal about celebrating his sexuality.

In the song notes for his latest track 'Montero (Call Me By Your Name)' the singer explains that the song is dedicated to his younger self. His birth name is Montero Lamar Hill.

"Dear 14-year-old Montero, I wrote a song with our name in it. It's about a guy I met last summer. I know we promised to never come out publicly, I know we promised to never be 'that' type of gay person, I know we promised to die with the secret, but this will open doors for many other queer people to simply exist,"

"You see this is very scary for me, people will be angry, they will say I'm pushing an agenda. But the truth is, I am. The agenda to make people stay the f--- out of other people's lives and stop dictating who they should be. Sending you love from the future."

Check out the groundbreaking video above. Man he can move! 5 stars.
