Heroes recognise heroes!
Deadpool and The Hulk have thrown their support behind Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy this week calling him a real-life superhero.
The pair took to the red carpet at Netflix’s sci-fi film “The Adam Project” last night, but made sure eyes and ears were on the tragic events that are taking place in Europe and how we could help.
“What we’re seeing is this incredible outpouring of goodwill toward Ukrainian people and democracy at a time when democracy has been under attack throughout the world by Putin...” Ruffalo told Variety.
“It’s a beautiful representation of who we are as human beings and how we’ve come together, and the Ukrainian people are incredible. They’re heroes. Zelenskyy is a hero." he continued.
Earlier this week Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively pledged to match any donation to the United Nations High Commission for Refugees up to $1 million USD.
If you'd like to donate to the Ukrainian relief efforts, you can do so using Red Cross, United Help Ukraine, Voices Of Children, Unicef in Ukraine.
