Producer Girlies Carwen & Shannon Catch Up with SIX The Musical Star Loren Hunter!

FVH producer girlies (and SIX mega fans) Carwen and Shannon caught up with actor Loren Hunter ahead of SIX The Musical hitting New Zealand shores in February.

If you've been on the same side of TikTok as us for the last few years (Queendom we're looking at you), it's likely you will have heard about the new musical SIX. The musical features a modern take on the extraordinary stories of the six wives of Henry VIII, combining incredible costumes and songs destined to be stuck in your head.

Loren, who plays Jane Seymour, describes the show as a "high octane pop concert with a little bit of a history lesson". But this is nothing like your high school history class, Loren explaining that it's more like Tudor history meets Spice Girls, than anything.  

Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, this modern pop-inspired musical brings these historical figures to life, portraying them as fierce and influential pop stars in their own right.

The Tony award winning show will play an exclusive run at Auckland's Civic Theatre from February 27th, 2025.Audiences will hear from each wife, as they get the chance to tell their side of history to ultimately determine who suffered the most from their shared husband, and reclaim back their story.
