Study reveals the personality trait that makes you smart

Do you think you're a bit of a know it all?

Not to sound all cryptic but bear with us...

A recent study has revealed that admitting to your dumb moments might actually reveal that you're a smart person!

A Duke University study tested peoples awareness that they may occasionally wrong about things, by asking them to critique essays.

In the experiment, the smart but humble people were found to be: 

• Better at assessing evidence.
• Less judgemental, staying away from personal attacks.
• Tended to stick to their principles once they are established.

They also revealed that being intellectually humble can (surprise, surprise) make your relationships better and makes you a better leader.

So don't be embarrassed of your mistakes! Own them 'cause in the long run, you'll be much smarter for it!
