As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end.
The saying is especially important for Brooklyn Nine-Nine who has officially run its course after 8 amazing seasons.Â
It's safe to say the show has ended on a huge high though, securing a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes... And we all know they aren't very easy to please.Â
The final episode ever has just aired in the US, and fans and actors alike took to social media to say exactly what the show has meant to them.Â
The cop-comedy series initially faced the axe in 2018 by Fox, but due to the public outcry was rewarded another three seasons by NBC.
But this time 'round it really is the end for everyone at Brooklyn's 99th Precinct of the New York City Police Department.
Rotten Tomatoes certainly agree with the fans, being the 5th season to receive a 100% score by the critics.
The critical consensus praised the show for tackling 'big topics with poise in a fittingly complicated final season that attempts to meet the moment without losing its sense of humor'.
Seasons Two, Four, Five and Six have also been handed perfect 100% scores by the film and tv critics.Â
ZM understands the eighth and final season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine is now available to be viewed on Amazon Prime in Aotearoa.Â
