Science has found the physical trait in men that women find irresistible and it's broad shoulders! 

Strong looking guys with muscles are apparently favoured as a study in the Royal Society journal found.

The women surveyed were asked to look at photos of males bodies and rate them for attractiveness.

The men’s faces were covered up so it was purely based on their body and the results showed that all women surveyed found men sexy based on how strong they appeared to be, as well as how tall and lean they were.

Seventy per cent of women were most interested in their upper-bodies, specifically their wide shoulders.

Dr Aaron Sell from Griffith University said it could be down to the way our ancestors chose partners, as those who look like they’re fit are also more likely to win a fight.
