There's A Man Called Taylor Swift Who Really Wishes He Wasn't

The name of the person who is massive in pop culture at the moment is not a name you want. 

So, spare a thought for the man named Taylor Swift.

He's a 30-year-old photographer who lives in Seattle and now being called Taylor Swift has become a bit of a curse, really. For the first two decades of his life he didn't have a problem but as she became bigger, it became a nightmare.

"I was kinda like, OK, I should look into this. So I started researching, I was like, 'OK, so she does country music, that's great. She writes her own music, that's awesome! She seems like a great person." He told radio station KOMO 4 in Seattle back in 2006 when Swift first arrived on the scene.

"When at Starbucks, they ask your name. And you say Taylor, and it's like ‘Oh, wouldn't it be funny if your last name was Swift?! It's like… here's my debit card, ha ha ha, surprise," he said.

It’s now gotten to the point where the photographer ends up drowning in fan mail that isn’t meant for him at all. As for his e-mail account, well that was pretty much unmanageable too, eventually he had to let go of [email protected], and set up a new one.

Another down side means his professional photography site has been shoved down Google's internet search lists as the pop star takes on the world.
