This Mum Gave Birth to Twins Who are Older Than Each Other and Our Minds Are Blown

Firstly, we want to congratulate this lovely couple on the arrival of their twins!

Emily and Seth Peterson welcomed Samuel and Ronan into the world 10 days ago but their childbirth wasn't like any other.

Samuel was born first, but according to their birth certificates, Ronan is actually older. Say what?

Yup, you read that correctly and we are still trying to get our heads around it!

Apparently, Daylight Saving is to blame.

Samuel was born at 1.39 AM on Sunday, November 6th, while Ronan took 31 minutes longer. But to throw some confusion in the mix, Daylight Saving meant the clocks changed at 2am. So instead of 2.10 AM, Ronan’s official time of birth turned into 1.10 AM, making both of the babies older than each other.

The boys are going to be arguing about who's older for the rest of their lives!
