Usher's Maori connection that's caught everyone's attention!

Usher hit the stage at Friday Jams Live at Western Springs on Sunday night, where he revealed a very Kiwi connection.

Holding it out to the crowd, the RnB star showed off a Pounamu gifted to him by Sony Music as a gift for his visit.

Wearing it onstage, he was treated to a haka tautoko by the crowd.

The piece itself was another stunning piece designed by KIRI NATHAN - Astley from FLAVA's Mum!

When Meghan Markle visited the country last month, she was also gifted a gorgeous piece by Nathan.
