What colour are these jandals? Havaianas respond to the divided internet

Brace yourself, it's the dress all over again... the one where people argued for weeks about whether it was black and blue, or white and gold.
YES, THAT DRESS.
Now, the internet has been stirred into another frenzy regarding the colour of these Havaianas jandals...

White and gold? Black and blue? Gold and blue? Blue and brown? NO IDEA.
The reason that people see different colours is that human eyes evolved to see in daylight, but daylight changes color at different times of day. “The wavelength composition of the light reflected from an object changes considerably in different conditions of illumination,” Science Daily wrote at the height of the frenzy over "The Dress". “Nevertheless, the color of the object remains the same.”
Buzzfeed was able to confirm that the flip-flips are actually blue and black, thanks to Havaianas settling it once and for all. We're not sure we agree though?!
Needless to say, the internet is still torn.
