"Wicked" to be turned into a feature length film!

Wicked has been around for about 14 years telling audiences the 'true' story about Elphaba - the Wicked Witch of The West - and Glinda - the Good Witch and how they became the most well-known witches in Oz.

If you've been lucky enough to see the musical, you know how perf it is. 

Soon, you won't have to wait for the live show to hit your home town because it will be coming to a movie theater near you!

That's right, it's being transformed into a feature film and ABOUT TIME we say! 

We can't wait for audiences to experience this! 

And the release date has been announced: You will be able to see the cinematic version of Wicked from December 20, 2019!

The original actress who played Elphaba is Idina Menzel, who has been in Glee and also voiced Elsa in Frozen. So, if you had any doubt before, just know that that woman has some pipes on her! 

There's no word on whether or not she will be reprising her iconic role.
