Pitch Perfect star and Scrappy Little Nobody author just returned to the scene of her birth on The Late Late Show with James Corden for a one-take musical about the circle of life co-starring Billy on the Street’s Billy Eichner and James Corden.
What's even more impressive is that the video was shot in just one continuous take!
The follow up to Kendrick’s and Corden’s “The Soundtrack to a Love Story,” was called “The Soundtrack to Growing Up,” starring Eichner as Kendrick’s father and Corden as her boyfriend.
Salt-N-Pepa’s “Push It,” Madonna’s “Papa Don’t Preach” and “Like a Virgin,” Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” and Rihanna’s “B*tch Better Have My Money” all featured in the music video.
And what better way to end the soundtrack than with a bit of Lion King?! The final number was Elton John's “Circle of Life” and it was a pretty cute way to end!
