BBC weather presenter Rachel Mackley fainted on air just seconds after telling producers she was going to do so.Â
The 33-year-old mother of one stumbled backwards and the cameras quickly cut back to hosts Polly Evans and Rob Smith, who both looked concerned for their colleague as she uttered ‘I’m so sorry’ once again.
The BBC South East news team later tweeted out that Rachel was ‘up on her feet and will be absolutely fine’, while both Polly and Rob confirmed the news.
‘She’s doing ok thanks – a bit shaken – but good now,’ Polly told a concerned viewer.
