Grandpa Sings to His 93-Year-Old Dying Wife & IT'S SO SAD

Erin Solari captured an extremely tender moment between her grandparents. In it, her grandfather, Howard, a 92-year-old World War II veteran, sings to his dying 93-year-old wife, Laura, in hospice.

Laura and Howard have been married for 73 years.

“At family gatherings, it was not uncommon for the two of them to sing this song together, each taking a verse and serenading the other.”

“Sadly, Grandma is now too weak to sing, but that doesn’t stop her from saying the words to him. Howard then takes over for her and sings the rest of the song to her while stroking her face.”

Even though Laura has macular degeneration and can’t see much of anything, she still looks deep into Howard’s eyes while he sings their song.
