Monkeys Riding Dogs Like Horses

Tim Lepard arrives to the Potomac Nationals game with four monkeys and five dogs, and he’ll probably perform in front of the biggest crowd the team will draw all season, according to the team’s general manager.

Since 1981, Lepard has operated what he calls “Team Ghost Riders,” but many of the 35 baseball stadiums he visits calls “Cowboy Monkey Rodeo.” And it’s just what that sounds like: Lepard’s capuchin monkeys sit on saddles astride collies as they herd bighorn sheep around the outfield.
