NZ Police Investigating Lewis Hamilton After Snapchat Selfie On Auckland Motorway

Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton is being investigated by police after publishing footage of himself using a cellphone while driving a motorbike.

The 31-year-old, who is visiting New Zealand before heading to Melbourne for the Australian GP, has drawn the attention of police after he published two videos of himself driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle on an Auckland motorway.

A police spokesman said police had been provided with copies of the footage.

"Police will be reviewing the footage and taking any appropriate action it deems necessary." he said.
