Taylor Swift Has Donated $50,000 To A Young Cancer Patient

Taylor Swift has donated $50,000 to 11-year-old Naomi Oakes, who set up a GoFundMe page after being diagnosed with leukemia.

The Taylor Swift fan has to undergo six to nine months of treatment to battle the cancer and can’t leave the hospital, which means that she’ll have to miss Taylor’s 1989 World Tour when it stops in Phoenix. 

She got Taylor's attention by uploading a video that went viral hoping that she would spread the word about her fundraiser but Taylor did much more than that..

Taylor also wrote her a special note:
“To the beautiful and brave Naomi, I’m sorry you have to miss it, but there will always be more concerts. Let’s focus on getting you feeling better. I’m sending the biggest hugs to you and your family.”
