WATCH: Adele's Grammy Performance Didn't Sound Too Good

Adele took to the Grammys stage to perform her track "All I Ask" and the live rendition was far from her best. The microphone cut out on the broadcast for a few seconds early on in the performance, and throughout, the singer didn't quite sound like Adele usually does.

CBS has responded with a spokesperson confirming that there was a five-to-eight second technical issue with the broadcast, that was outside the network's control. 

Adele has also now responded, taking to Twitter: 

The piano mics fell on to the piano strings, that's what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune. Shit happens. X
